The Red Panda's matter because 50% of the Red Panda's habitat is the forests that cover the Himalayan Mountain range. Due to roads, hydro-projects, electric transmission lines, mining, and anthropogenic forest fires, the forest through the mountain range is decreasing at a rapid pace. If action, or even a general interest, isn’t taken soon, the red panda population could be gone sooner than we ever thought.
